Zehrs Grand Opening
After giving Loblaw's "Inspire" format a fresh makeover, we turned our attention to revamping Zehrs. Our mission was to cater to a "suburban" audience, which required a different approach from our "urban" Loblaws solution. Our goal was to create a friendly neighborhood marketplace, where we could help our customers bring more to the table.
We partnered with Landini Associates on the new logo and brand guidelines.
The debut of the fresh "Neighbour" format kicked off at the Zehrs supermarket in Barrie. Landini Associates spearheaded the store design, with consulting from myself and the marketing team.
Our creative strategy aimed to showcase our new brand positioning of "Bringing more to the table" and highlighted our extensive service offerings that deliver an exceptional in-store customer experience.
THE SUCCESS:
Our transformation of the existing format into a modern, sophisticated, and suburban-friendly environment was reflected in every aspect of the design, from the in-store experience to advertising materials. While we evolved the format, we also retained the approachable, friendly neighborhood attitude, making it an instant hit with the customers. This much-loved banner became a national success story, now in high demand across Canada.
